16A-250V double-pole switch compatible with Living International
The double-pole switch consists of two poles. Its function is to interrupt both power lines: the live wire and the neutral wire. In fact, it has four terminals on the back—two input and two output—unlike a simple single-pole switch, which has only two terminals.
It is particularly suitable for use with appliances where it is preferable to completely disconnect the power supply from the electrical grid when they are not in use, or for controlling a socket, known as a “controlled socket.”
A two-pole switch can also be recognized by the presence of two 0/1 symbols on the front to indicate its status: on (1) or off (0). Using this switch therefore provides the on/off function.
The switch is a perfect replacement for the original product with code AM5011 and can be installed without any issues.
